    In Iraq, people have been struggling to cope with one of the worst droughts on record. Water levels in the vital Tigris River have dropped significantly, and parts of the country are facing a severe water crisis. Yet the dry conditions have proved to be a boon for one sector: archaeology. Excavation teams have been able to unearth ancient ruins that were once submerged.
