France: Parliamentary report criticizes state and PM Bayrou on school abuse

After three months of hearings, a French parliamentary commission released a critical report on sexual abuse and violence in schools, highlighting the state’s failure to protect students. The report directly blames Prime Minister François Bayrou for not acting on systemic abuse at the Betherram school, which he and his family were familiar with.
