Anschütz Announces SYNAPSIS WECDIS NX Warship Electronic Chart Display and Information System
Anschütz has relaunched its Warship Electronic Chart Display and Information System under the new name SYNAPSIS WECDIS NX. The system offers a range of additional military and tactical functions in accordance with STANAG 4564 Edition 3, and also prepares customers for the upcoming introduction of the new S-100 standard. SYNAPSIS WECDIS NX is a powerful system for naval navigation and tactical operations. Its innovative and intuitive design reduces training needs by offering a clear interface that prioritises common functions and avoids deep menu structures. This ensures that personnel require only minimal instruction to use the system confidently. The system provides a clear picture of the maritime situation, offering exceptional insight into both the ship and its surroundings. Tactical overlays, along with a range of waterspace management and anti-submarine warfare features, maximise the effectiveness of tactical navigation and mission execution. Integrated and validated sensor data enables precise plotting of the ship’s position, manoeuvres and surrounding traffic – even in GNSS-denied environments.
